I know right now some of you are probably thinking “hmmm, things Jess loves that I might find disgusting?”
“How about that ex boyfriend of hers – does he count?”
The answer to that question is No, Negative, Negatory….Don’t be like that…He was lovely… Sort of.
There are things that I love, that you reading this and most other people for that matter will find absolutely disgusting.
This post may induce vomiting of some description. Or in the very least dry wrenching similar to the type that you get when you wake up after 8 Stoli Vodka’s, 7 Breezers, 6 beers and a few glasses of wine, followed by a couple of tequila shots for good measure. Not that I would know (obviously – I haven’t had a hangover in days years).
The things I love that I most often get criticised about or vomited on over are:
1. Dog Hair – Pluto the wonder dog is super cute, but man he is a shedder. He sheds hair all year round. and the beauty of him being both black and white in colouring is that when I wear light clothes the dark hairs show up and when I wear light clothes. My back is always hairy. As is my furniture, my sister when she comes over has to dust the hair off the lounge so she can sit on it.

2. Canned Fruits and Vegetables – a meals not a meal without an assortment of canned vegetables. My favourite is canned asparagus, but I also love those mini corns, corn kernels and beetroot. To me the best salads are ‘deconstructed’ where an array of such canned delicacies are arranged on the table (along with some hard boiled eggs) and you put the salad together yourself.
3. The pickle on the Macca’s burgers – at this years ‘niece and nephew birthday extravaganza’ (which catered for about 25 4-6 year olds) I ate possibly 15 Maccas pickles from several kids (and parents) that didn’t want theirs. They were my lunch. They were delicious. If you don’t know what I’m referring to, next time you go to McDonald’s – look up!
I love these. They are absolutely delicious. Once I asked for extra and I got 15 in one burger. They thought it would annoy me, but I loved every bite.

4. You Tube videos featuring pus filled medical procedures, cyst removals and mango worms – next time you log into You Tube, do yourself a favour and search for the following: Biggest Pimple Ever, Cyst, Gross, Pus, and my current favourite Mangoworms. I love these videos especially after dinner!
